Zhongzhi Zhang received the B.Sc. degree in Applied Mathematics from Anhui University, Hefei, China in 1997 and Ph.D.degree in Management Science and Engineering from Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China, in 2006. From July 2006 to June 2008, he was a Post-Doctorate Research Fellow in Fudan University. Currently he is a Professor at the School of Computer Science, Fudan University, China.

Dr. Zhang’s research interests include theory and applications of complex networks, theoretical computer science, and spectral graph theory. He has published more than 100 papers in international journals since 2006 in the field of network modeling and dynamics, receiving 1613 citations with h_index 23 according to the Thomson Reuters ISI Web of Science.

Dr. Zhang is a Committee Member of the Chinese Society of Complexity Science. He is a Young Associate Editor for Frontiers of Computer Sciences (FCS) and served as a guest editor for FCS in 2009. He received the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award of Liaoning Province, China, the Excellent Post-Doctor Award of Fudan University, the third-class Natural Science Award of Shanghai City (The first contributor), SCI Paper Award of Fudan University, and Best Paper Award of Chinese Conference on Complex Networks (Supervisor). He is a reviewer for numerous international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, Journal of Chemical Physics, EPL, among others.
