January 28, 2008 nLyrics is a free iTunes companion. Working in conjunction with iTunes, it can download lyrics and synchronize them in Karaoke style. It can download artworks from the Internet for the songs lacking them. It can also convert tags encodings to UTF8 such that iTunes can correctly recognize them. Last but not least, it's the best iTunes companion ever! Enjoy :)

nLyrics supports Mac OS X 10.5 and above only. She does not support neither Windows nor Linux. Unzip the package, Copy the app file to your applications folder. Be sure to remove the preference file (/Users/YOU/Library/Preferences/edu.fudan.nanmus.nlyrics.plist) before the first launch. - It does not work on my mac, why?
nLyrics starting from 1.1.0 is Leopard only. Tiger users are supposed to use version 1.0.2. Note that this version can neither automatically download lyrics nor enter full screen mode and provides only basic lyrics synchronization function. - What if I already have lots of LRC files?
Please rename the LRC files to the names of the corresponding music files with the file extension .lrc and put them (the music file and its lrc file) into the same folder. If there is no valid LRC embedded in the music file, nLyrics will search the folder where the music file locates for the LRC file with the same name. For example, you have got a music file named "Oops!...I Did It Again.mp3", please rename the corresponding LRC file as "Oops!...I Did It Again.lrc" and put it in the same folder with the mp3 file. - How to resize the lyrics panel?
Hover the mouse on the panel and drag it while pressing the Command key to resize the panel. - The song control panel suddenly becomes larger than expected, why?

Updated the component in charge of downloading artworks from Amazon to catch up with the upgraded web service thereof. Now you can download the artworks of the songs archived by Amazon at Canada, Germany, France, Japan, Britain and the U.S.
