Research and Engineering Interests

As a researcher, now I am particuarly interested in graph data management(especially efficient computing solutions for large graph data), social network analysis and biological network analysis.

As an engineer, I am now particulary interested in providing consulting sverice for database tuning  and implementation technqiues for businees intelligence systems (inlcuding data mining solutions and data warehouse solutions).

Teaching

  • I am the supervisor of following seminars at Fudan University:
          Algorithmics for Hard Problems;
          Data Mining;
          Cloud Computing;
          Database Performance Tuning and Optimization;
          Network Biology
  • For graduated students, I taught Database Sysetm Management and Tuning (Fall 2009 at Fudan)
  • For undergraduated students, I taught Computer Multimedia and Image Processing (Fall 2009 at Fudan), Advanced Office Automation (Fall 2009 at Fudan), Data strucutre, Programming Language......
  • I am also a trainer for Microsoft Certified Professional including MCSE、MCP、MCDBA、MCSD. Invited by Microsoft DPE, I have ever been the pioneering trainer for Microsoft new techniques including SQL server 2005, .Net 2.0, VSTS(Visual studio team system). Audience includs HP, Microsoft....
